Electronic Service Technician

An experienced Electronic Service Technician is required to join our busy engineering team based in Uxbridge.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the fault-finding, down to component level, of a wide variety of electronic and mechanical products, and be able to analyse and specify the required repair to return the product to correct operation in a timeframe to meet customer expectations. This may involve the use of circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of digital and analogue cameras and other electronic systems
• Experience of working to close tolerances and time limits
• Manual dexterity is required to carry out disassembly and reassembly of equipment
• Good soldering, including small connectors and SMD
• Being systematic and accurate
• Information technology and networking
• There will be a requirement for flexible working hours and some travel
• Computer literacy will be seen as an advantage
• Team oriented
• Oral and written communication
